Good Deed Suggestions
Below are just a sample of suggested "good deeds." We believe the best "good deed" comes from the heart! Don't forget - when you perform your "good deed," hand the recipient one of your "Hope Coins" - and encourage them to pass it on!
- Create a basket of food for a needy family
- Clean the yard of a neighbor who is ill
- Leave an anonymous bouquet of flowers on a neighbor's doorstep
- Bake cookies as a family and take to a neighbor who may need a lift
- Bake treats for your local police or fire department personnel
- Shovel snow or rake leaves for a neighbor
- Roll an elderly neighbor's garbage cans back up the driveway at the end of pickup day
- Mentor a child
- Collect teddy bears for police officers to give to traumatized children
- Donate a toy to a hospitalized child
- Randomly pick a table at a restaurant and pick up the tab for the meal
- Help a neighbor in their garden
- Stop for a person waiting to cross the street
